Boat trips around the port and to Germany

A cruise around the port, to the mouth of the Świna or to the German resorts on Usedom. Świnoujście is best seen from the water.

  • From 1 hr (port) to half a day (German resorts)

What boat trips there are in Świnoujście

  • Port cruises. Short, usually one-hour trips along the Świna, to the river mouth and along the port quays. Children especially love the boats styled as pirate ships.
  • Trips to the German resorts. In season, passenger ships sail from Świnoujście to Ahlbeck, Heringsdorf and Bansin, docking at their piers. The one-way trip takes about an hour and a half.

Planning your trip

Timetables, prices and departure points change every season, so we do not list them. You will find offers at the quays in the centre and on the operators’ websites. You can combine a trip to Germany with walking back along the promenade or taking the UBB train from Heringsdorf.

On board, out at sea, it is windy even on a hot day. Take a jumper and a hat, and a windproof jacket for the children.

On the German side, a hop-on hop-off boat also runs between the piers of Ahlbeck, Heringsdorf and Bansin. Visitors with a spa card from those resorts ride it for free.
