About the route

The centre of Świnoujście is compact and you can walk around it in a quarter of an hour, but it is worth lingering. You start at the Church of Christ the King, cross plac Wolności with its cafés and head down to the Świna. Along the quay you walk to the former town hall, home to the Museum of Sea Fishing, and finish at the ferry landing for Warszów.

What you will see along the way

  • Plac Wolności, the town’s main square.
  • The Świna quay with passing ships.
  • The neoclassical former town hall from 1805-1809.
  • The Bielik ferry landing, from where you can cross to Warszów.

Where to sit down

For coffee we recommend Costa Coffee on plac Wolności or CoffeeBar by the quay, and for lunch Albakora or Neptun.
