Promenade with graduation towers

A spa microclimate

The graduation towers were put up by the promenade in 2020. They are wooden structures about 4 metres high, filled with bundles of twigs over which brine from the Świnoujście spa trickles down. As you walk between them you breathe in an aerosol rich in minerals, much like at traditional brine spas.

Practical tips

  • Using the graduation towers is free.
  • They operate from spring to autumn and take a break in winter. Off-season, inhalations and brine treatments are offered by the sanatoriums and hotels in the seaside district, which are open all year round.
  • It is best to sit by them for a quarter or half an hour, for example as a break during a walk along the promenade.

The brine aerosol is not recommended for everyone. If you have thyroid disease, high blood pressure or another chronic condition, ask your doctor first.
