A plan for a classic weekend: Saturday and Sunday, staying in the seaside district. You spend the first day on the beach and promenade side, the second on the other side of the Świna.
Day 1: beach, promenade and Germany
Morning
Along the beach to Stawa Młyny and back through the Park Zdrojowy. On the way, drop in at Fort Anioła and climb up to its terrace.
Late morning
Beach time. If the sun is out, these are the best hours for a swim.
Lunch
Fish at Kuter or Tawerna w Sieciach, close to the promenade.
Afternoon
A walk along the promenade across the border to Ahlbeck, coffee by the pier. Back along the shore.
Evening
Sunset on the beach, then dinner at Restauracja Promenada.
Day 2: ferry, lighthouse and wild beach
Morning
Through Park Zdrojowy to the centre and on the Bielik ferry to Warszów. From there to Fort Gerharda and the lighthouse.
Late morning
After climbing the lighthouse, head down to Warszów wild beach. Take water and snacks, as there are few places to eat here.
Lunch
After the ferry back, lunch in the centre, for example at Kurna Chata.
Afternoon
A walk along the Świna quay, the Museum of Sea Fishing and coffee on plac Wolności before you leave.
If it rains
On Saturday swap the beach for the aquapark and move the walk to Ahlbeck to a dry spell. On Sunday the forts and the museum work in any weather.
