This plan links the most important places in Świnoujście on both sides of the Świna: the beach, Stawa Młyny, the lighthouse and the promenade. You can do it all on foot, with a short ferry crossing.
Day 1
Morning
Start on the beach in the seaside district and walk east along the shore to the breakwater. At its end stands Stawa Młyny, the symbol of the town. In the morning it is empty here and the light is ideal for photos. We describe the route in our Along the beach to Stawa Młyny walk.
Late morning
From the breakwater, walk back through the Park Zdrojowy to the centre and along the quay to the Bielik ferry landing. Cross to Warszów (free on foot) and walk to the lighthouse. Climb the 308 steps to the viewing terrace.
Lunch
Take the ferry back to the centre and have lunch at Neptun or Albakora. For coffee, drop in at CoffeeBar on the quay.
Afternoon
Relax on the beach or visit the Museum of Sea Fishing in the old town hall.
Evening
A walk along the promenade towards the German border and sunset over the sea. To finish, ice cream at Gelati La Stella.
If it rains
Swap the morning beach walk for Fort Gerharda (next to the lighthouse) and spend the afternoon at the museum or the aquapark.
