The Fishermen’s Tavern (Tawerna Rybacka) is at Marina Karsibór, a small harbour on Karsibór island. From the restaurant you look out over the wide waters of the Old Świna, anglers’ boats and reeds, so the mood is completely different from the promenade.
The kitchen relies on fish from local fishermen. On the menu you will find lagoon classics: herring in cream, paprykarz, soured bream, pike-perch in dill sauce, pan-fried fish and fish soup. For dessert there are home-made cakes.
Marina Karsibór
The tavern comes with a yacht harbour with cabins, a sauna, kayak and boat hire and a fishing spot. If you have your own boat, you can moor at the marina.
You can cycle to the tavern on the To Karsibór, the island of birds route. Nearby is the island’s other fish tavern, Rybaczówka, and south of Karsibór lie the bird islands of the Świna delta.
Menus, prices and opening hours change with the season, so we do not list them. Check them on site or in the maps before you go.
