Parking in Świnoujście

In the seaside district and the centre parking is paid, and the closer to the beach, the more expensive. How the zones work and how to avoid overpaying.

Since 1 May 2026, new parking rules have applied in Świnoujście:

  • The Inner-city Paid Parking Zone covers the main streets of the seaside district. It applies around the clock, 7 days a week.
  • The Paid Parking Zone is divided into subzone A (including ul. Jachtowa, Uzdrowiskowa and Zdrojowa) and subzone B in the centre (including plac Wolności, plac Słowiański and plac Rybaka). Here charges apply at set hours.
  • In season, from May to September, the rates are higher than outside it. The rule is simple: the closer to the beach, the more expensive.

You can pay in cash, by card at the parking meter or with mobile apps.

Zone rates and hours change, so we do not list them. You will find the current price list on the town’s website and on the parking meters.

How to avoid overpaying

  • Choose accommodation with parking and leave the car there for your whole stay. On the left bank it is easiest to get around on foot and by bike anyway.
  • Some car parks have height barriers at the entrance. If you are driving a van or have a roof box, check the height limit before entering. Public car parks are not places to sleep in a campervan: where to stay overnight is covered in our guide By campervan, caravan and tent.
  • For trips to Warszów and Germany, choose the ferry, a bike or the UBB train rather than looking for a space at the other end of town.

All our apartments have parking in the building, so you can leave the car for your whole stay.
