Right bank of the Świna

Warszów wild beach

A beach on the other side of the Świna, beyond the lighthouse. Dunes, forest and much more space than by the promenade.

  • A summer morning, combined with climbing the lighthouse
  • For those seeking peace and nature
Dunes with grass and a wooden fence

A beach without the crowds

On the right bank of the Świna, in the Warszów district, the beach has a completely different character from the one by the promenade. Beyond the dunes the forest begins, there is no row of hotels and restaurants, and there are far fewer people. A good place for anyone who would rather listen to the sea than to music from a beach bar.

Getting there

From the centre or the seaside district, walk to the Bielik ferry landing and cross to Warszów (free on foot). From there, walk past Fort Gerharda and the lighthouse towards the sea. We describe the whole route with a map in the walk By ferry to the wild beach.

What to bring

  • Water and food: there are few places to eat along the way.
  • A parasol or something for shade.
  • Comfortable shoes for the walk there, and flip-flops for the beach.
